  • My friend and I came to Petsmart today and were very interested in a Chihuahua mix (though he was obviously a terrier mix) we were told that his adoption fee was $50-$75. They called just to "check the price" after we called my friend's mom to come meet the little guy.... It was then we were told that his adoption fee was $175! You get your animals from the humane society, yet the humane society charges a max of $75-100 and that covers all expenses. You are gouging people for money and it makes me sick!
