  • Food: Excellent!! We both ordered the 5 oz filet mignon and found it to be very tender and tasty. Most restaurants don't offer the 5 oz size so this was a pleasant surprise and something we appreciated. Service: super attentive and friendly ! Ambience: lovely! Two fireplaces were lit creating a soft light and warmth. Soft music in the background and very comfortable dining room. It was a serene setting and just what we were looking for. Highly recommend this restaurant for the ambience. Negative: We were very disappointed that they charge $3 to substitute asparagus for the potato. Even many restaurants of a lower quality and caliber do not charge for substitution. We felt that this $3 fee was very cheesy for customers who are already paying a tidy sum in their restaurant. It just doesn't fit the overall characteristics of the venue. We recommend that the owners should rethink this policy. We would've given them 5 stars had it not been for the $3 fee.
