We bought our 2014 Subaru WRX in Feb 2017 from Camelback Subaru. The sales guy and finacing staff were great and gave us exactly what we wanted low interest, affordable financing, and down payment we could afford. Although we were not clear on what the extended warranty covered and we should of read the "fine print" for the most part we have been happy and absolutely love our car. The air conditioner went out and the car was taken to the dealership for service we also noticed it was burning oil rapidly, the a/c was covered no problem, the service department tells us that we needed a valve replacement and because we had the oil changed somewhere other than the dealership our warranty would not cover the cost and they gave the car back. Now the "throwout bearing & clutch" has gone out rendering the car undriveable. Roadside assistance told us we had to pay "out of pocket" because that part of our "extended warranty" expired in feb. WTF? we bought it in Feb. The service dept. first called to say the bearing would be covered but the clutch was a wearable part and we would have to pay about $800 to have the clutch fixed but the labor was covered since the bearing was under warranty. Thats not so bad and we could live with that, but the guy called back again to say he was wrong the bearing was not covered and the cost would now be over $3000 to fix. He also said our car is completely taken apart and he cant put it back together without replacing those parts. So basically we have no choice but to pay an absurd amount of money to fix the Subaru we bought 4 months ago. Come to find out the extended warranty we paid $1700 for expired at 60,000 miles eventhough the car had 64,000 miles on it when we bought it. Thanks a lot Subaru Thanks A Lot
