We stopped by on a Saturday night without reservations and the place was quite busy. Tables seemed to be by reservation only with seating only available at the sushi bar. We were told about 25 minutes wait and were seated in about 20.
Hiro's is rather small and was very busy but we were never rushed out the door. Staff was quite attentive and everyone we encountered was friendly. My wife, who is pregnant had short rib pork soup and seemed to enjoy it greatly. My sister and law and her boyfriend ordered up salmon sashimi and a couple of rolls. I chose the chirashi dinner special.
Overall all the dishes were very good. The rolls looked good, but I couldn't comment on taste. My chirashi was a first for me and it was good, beautifully presented and tasty. I can't speak to pricing as I didn't see the final bill but it was definately good and I'd return when we are back in Scottsdale.
