| - Genuinely disappointed with this place. Came here for HH and sat on the patio. We sat at one of the low tops with the brown circle chairs. Very uncomfortable. We sat down at 6:30 so HH was almost over. It wasn't very busy at all. We were ready to order basically right when we sat down. Our waitress introduced herself as Courtney. She came off very sweet, but wasn't great. We ordered the truffle fries, calamari, Margherita pizza, and the tuna poke. The calamari came out really quick. Less than 5 minutes after we ordered and it was out. It was great! The aioli and the calamari itself was amazing. With this as our starting dish, we expected the rest of the food to be great. More than 10 minutes later our truffle fries came out. They were HORRIBLE. I loveeeee anything truffle. Truffle oil, white/black truffle, truffle aioli, basically anything truffle. They had no flavor, the lemon aioli was horrible, and to top it off, they were not even remotely hot. Our waitress didn't stop back by to check on us for a while so we weren't able to let her know. The pizza followed a couple minutes later and was good. Nothing spectacular, but not bad. Finally, once we were done with the calamari and pizza, the poke came out. Very surprised it took over 25 minutes to receive. It looked like it was pre made like all the cooks would have to do would be scoop it, put it in a bowl, and grab some chips to put on the plate. It wasn't bad, the passion fruit in it gave it an odd, but unique flavor.
Overall it was a very disappointing experience. We had higher expectations of the food and service. I get it. If it's busy, I know you will not be at my table all the time, but would've been nice if she did a quality check once we had our food. It was not busy at all. Especially for HH business. We were ready to go before we even had our poke. We assumed she forgot to ring it in since it took so long. We took two bites of the poke and asked for the check so we could leave.
Did not see a manager present in the venue, but the hostess in the blue dress with boots was very sweet and sold us on the restaurant.
With so many options in DT Summerlin, we might stop by to grab a cocktail at the bar, but will not be dining in.
