  • Short: Excellent, affordable service. Most important of all, George is friendly and very professional. I will be using them again when I move out of state in two years. George, the owner of the company, quoted me a very reasonable price for moving several pieces of furniture and two dozen boxes from a 2nd floor apartment to a first floor unit. The estimated time was 2 hours of work for two guys. On the day of the move, he arrived early and got to work right away. It was supposed to be two guys, but the other person had an emergency and couldn't show up so it ended up taking 3 hours, but he only charged me for the 2 hours we'd agreed upon. He moved everything himself and was very professional about it. All of my furniture are either from Craigslist or furniture re-stores and nothing is over 50 bucks, but he was extra careful with each piece and took his time to get them out the door without any damage. I would definitely trust him to take care of more expensive furniture. He made the move seem much less stressful compared to what I'd envisioned. The company has a labor division (smaller jobs and you supply the truck and equipment) and a moving division (out of town moves, comes with truck, dollies, etc). My UIUC contract ends in two years and I'm planning to use this company again to help me move to California.
