| - I did a driveby of this place earlier in the day, and did some research. I heard it closed at 8pm, and was told they have Chihuly glass on display. That is all I needed to hear.
Parking was free, and was plenty of it- I managed to get a front row spot! We got there around 5:30 pm, thinking there would be plenty of time to see everything...
Well I was wrong! It started to get dark around 6:30, and for that, I missed out on about 2-3 trails- that sucked because I wanted to see everything... Hopefully since it is daylight savings now, you can enjoy the gardens now at a later time...
The parts that I did see were fascinating, although at parts it did get kind of boring (we started from the left and worked our way around). I was told there was even a concery there for the evening- which sounded cool- but I wanted to explore, having never been there.
I would like to go back and see what the entire garden has to offer, since the desert portion at the Atlanta Botanical Garden just doesn't do it justice.
I think it is cool how it is next to the zoo (which I didn't get to visit), and two parks.
