| - A few moths ago, I was in need of a pet sitter and decided to give Wags in the City a try. I sent them an email and after a week waiting, I received a confirmation that they were coming to my house to meet me and the pets. We set a time for the visit. Four hours late, almost at 10 PM they showed up.....kind of a bad first impression. Unfortunately I had just moved to the area and couldn't find an alternative.
So it was agreed that Wags in the City would come to my home twice a day for half hour to do what they advertise so much, quality time with the pet. Well, to my surprise, I was cheated of my money and the animals of that "passion" they so proudly advertise in their website. The visits were usually 10 to 18 minutes long, and some were skipped altogether.
After asking Beth, the owner of Wags in the City, why the short visits, she mentioned that they felt that as long as the animals has been fed and cleaned, they think is OK to leave, even before the time I paid for is up. Well, I think otherwise. I paid for a service, a time, long enough to feed, clean AND keep company to my pets. There was no "passion".
A refund for the skipped visits and times was requested. I'm still waiting for that money they own me. I would not recommend Wags in the City to anyone. I can't trust someone that doesn't keep their end of a deal, specially when you're leaving the care of your pets to them. It is worth noting that Beth has recently become a Realtor, and that seems to be more important that Wags in the City and the service they provide.
