  • I took my vehicle in for basic maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, detailing) and waited 3 1/2 hours for my vehicle to be done, which was much longer than I've waited at other places. While I was waiting a couple car salesmen tried to convince me to trade my vehicle in, they were very annoying. The service center staff was friendly but considering they swindle for a living that is no surprise. They also tried to get me to trade my vehicle in and proceeded to tell me how I needed over 5,000 worth of work on it. That included replacing my brakes, which they stated would be more money because it was a special order item. So I took it to a mechanic friend of mine a few weeks later to have it looked over. He did 250 dollars worth of work and fixed all the "major" problems they mentioned (he assured me all the work he did was actually pretty minor). Although I haven't replaced the brakes yet, my friend told me the parts I needed for my brakes were standard and not special order. But what pissed me off the most was finding out they didn't actually change my oil! My friend asked if I had been doing my basic maintenance because my oil was really old and needed changed. What the hell were they doing for over 3 hours? For the sake of your vehicle don't go to Earnhardt Ford service center. This place is a freaking joke and nothing but a scam designed to take your money. Any company that will outright lie to my face and still take my money without delivering services will never have my business again.
