I wanted to try a local spa for a facial and decided on pure and simple as it's just a walk away. I chose the hydration facial with oxygen treatment. I get facials regularly and love adding the oxygen treatment. When I arrived everyone was quite friendly. My esthetician brought me to the room and her first comment was this room is cold. Please keep your jeans, socks and bra on. I did, and quickly realized the room was FREEZING. The poor girls hands were frozen and all the products felt like they were refrigerated. The face mask was actually so cold it almost hurt going on. She then started the oxygen treatment, which is pressurized as expected, it was freezing. In fact it was so cold I couldn't catch my breath and was gasping for air. If you know your rooms are cold, not to mention if it is freezing outside, buy a space heater or an electric blanket. To top off my unwanted cryofacial, my 60 minute treatment was no longer than 30minutes. Not ok - and seriously disappointing.
