| - Sometimes it's not the service you get, it's the service you get when something isn't 100% right the first time. In that regard, Pep Boys came through like a champ.
I bought a set of tires elsewhere Saturday morning, and needed to get them balanced. I called the Boys, and they said to drop it off and they'd take care of it. On a Saturday without an appointment. I dropped the car off, and got picked up my wife in our other car.
A couple of hours later, I got a text telling me that my car was ready. We picked up the car, and at first it drove great. Later that day, there was a pull to the tires. I called the Boys back, and agreed to drop off the car again Sunday morning. When I walked in Sunday, they greeted me by name, and promised to take care of the problem. After getting word that the car was ready, I headed back down again. Once I arrived, they told me that they had rotated the tires 3 times before identifying that 1 of the tires was defective. And no charge for all of the extra work caused by something that wasn't there fault.
A Great start to a relationship with a newly opened business in my neighborhood.
