I am not experienced as to what makes a good Philly cheesesteak. About all the ones I have had are lacking flavor for me, so I have never been a fan. But the ones here are pretty good.
I would go here more if it wasn't in an area I loathe driving to, but that is probably a good thing as these are very bad for me. This is another area of Vegas where I'm afraid to get out of my car. The huge iron fences on the windows when you order from here says it all - this neighborhood is crap.
Don't kill me people but, I am not a fan of the cheese whiz on these sandwiches, as I think it completely ruins the flavor. But I am a fan of provolone.
One thing I should mention is that they had soft pretzels on the menu when we were there last time. My husband, who orders soft pretzels pretty much everywhere he goes wanted one, and was informed him they took these off the menu, because no one really orders pretzels at a cheesesteak place. They went in back anyhow and dug one up for him and warmed it up with some of the cheese wiz on the side. Very cool of them to do that.
