| - First off, let me say the good things about Trapeze U. The instruction you get from their instructors is top-notch. They really know how to make you feel at ease and calm your nerves. The instructions are concise and clear; they will accommodate your mistakes.
And here's what I thought they could have done differently. I attended a class in the evening that started in light drizzle/mist with lightning visible about 18 miles away. (Weatherbug app confirmed this). As the class progressed, the storms, rain, wind, and associated lightning got closer and closer, eventually getting within 10 miles of us. The staff didn't appear concerned and continued with the class. I felt that in light of the weather, they should have cancelled the class and given us a credit for a future class. We would have been disappointed but understood their decision. Suffice to say, trying to climb onto a platform high in the air and hanging upside down in the rain and wind wasn't very enjoyable.
I did not feel safe standing near, climbing on, and touching metal poles with lightening so close. That anxiety definitely diminished my experience a bit.
But overall, I would give them another try, hopefully in better weather.
