I would give this a 3.5 star. Nice and cozy place. It's located in the same strip as District One. Came for dinner with dw and had a romantic ambiance. We ordered with the young lady and asked if it was too much and she said no it's good. So we got the Tom Kah Gai (chicken with coconut milk soup) and a larb (pork salad) to start. The soup was very flavorful and not too heavy. The larb was the best out the whole meal, but was missing a bit of spice (for me). It was rather a large dish for an appetizer. Next we ordered the crispy duck with curry was very tasty and still had a crunch when you bite it despite the curry on top. The crab fried rice (was a few pieces of crab meat on top of a small mound of fried rice (will not get this next time). The soft shell crab consists of 2 good size crabs fried whole and then sauteed with garlic and onions. It was a bit too sweet for me and again missing some spiciness. The yam woo sen (seafood vermicelli salad) comes with squid, mussels, shrimp, salmon pieces mixed with vermicelli. We asked more than once if this was too much and each time the waitress said no. Well, the portions are quite big so this would have been enough for 4 people. Guess the waitress wanted to ring up the bill and/or think I would pack this for leftovers (I did tell her we were not from here). Service was good throughout (the other 2 fellows kept coming to pour water, etc..) The dishes looked good but unfortunately didn't wow me or convert me to Chada (hint use more chillis and cut down on the sweet). I much prefer Lotus of Siam for a unforgettable experience. thanks
