| - Fancy enough (dress code in effect, IE guys, no shorts), great food, decent service and if you like hearing Frank Sinatra as I do, you may well love it here!
It is a large restaurant with outdoor seating - I could see a fireplace out there that looked very inviting. Resos recommended.
The dishes to me are perhaps pricier than they need to be for what you get... BUT.. if you order the clams and spaghetti like I did ($33), you will get a ton of clams heaped on and pasta that is not overcooked, phew! Too many places overcook their pasta and you feel ripped off, not here. Some may say the seasoning is a bit too much but for me it was fine. Especially as there is no salt and pepper on the table. The clams had been properly cleaned and were not gritty.
I had to ask for black pepper for my pasta and it should have been offered for my appetizer salad but, small detail.
The Riesling white wine was very good but for $16 a glass it better be!
My friends each had the lasagna (also around $33) and enjoyed it. I found portions to be adequate.
I do recommend the Caesar salad to start although I found it to be missing that bit of bacon to make it extra yummy. Perfectly cool and crisp lettuce, dressed perfectly, not overloaded with croutons.
We also shared a Caprese salad and while this was a less hearty option, staff split it on 2 plates without us even asking and the mozza was very fresh.
We skipped dessert as we were just too full but we left feeling like we had a nice meal and would recommend if staying at or near Wynn/Encore.
