Well after 29 great years as a Discover card holder - i finally learned what true "membership" means at Discover card.
I have been a member since 1989. Love the card, never late, always a great credit score, always a great credit limit.
I had to cancel that card in March for some bad reasons. I did not owe Discover card anything - it is paid up with a zero balance.
Now I am just a member "since 2017", and it is hurting my credit score, and I have a beginner or newbie credit limit at the moment.
What exactly does "membership" mean at Discovercard?
Is it the 29 years of great business we did together?
Or am i just a new schmuck with a brand new Discover card? And a crappy low credit line?
Be wary and be warned. Dont ever ever ever cancel a card with them. They forget you immediately.
I smm proof.
