| - The top headline: My 13 year old car is running as well as when I first bought it after an emergency repair while visiting Las Vegas.
This place is more like a Auto Whisperers.
My 2004 Lexus GX 470 health has Add to deteriorated over the recent years, probably from my not maintaining it as carefully as I should. Toyota and Lexus keep on running, which delays the maintenance stops. The car has over 168,000 miles on it.
Drove to Vegas with my son, and luckily just as we pulled near the Mandalay Beach Hotel, my car stalled, and the dash lights did a dance. The power steering was out, and there was fluid on the ground. Ughhhh!
I searched Yelp and for Toyota and Lexus Precision Performance was highly rated.
They reviewed the car, determined I was due for some maintenance while they fixed the power steering and water pump, etc. I knew it was time for a timing belt, which I should have done at 95,000, and was very lucky nothing happen.
Not happy that I needed all this work, but it was long overdue.
Bottom line ..... when I drove away from the shop, the engine sounded like new. The car drove like new, and it is now driving like a dream.
Hate having emergency repairs during travel, but very happy that I was able to get the car up to date with deferred tune up!
A couple notes: This location is a bit hidden. It is not just Precision Performance, Toyota and Lexus, but they also are a Honda repair place, Looks like a separate shop, but it is related when you drive up. You can park in the Honda driveway as well.
They did a few things at no extra charge while they were in the engine.
Glad I could find a master mechanic, or talented car shop that is much more reasonable then a dealership.
Next time I am in Vegas, I will probably bring the car in for some work!
