  • First off , do you notice the initials of Advanced Home Service are AHS? That's right , there is definitely some kind of collusion between this so called independent contractor and AHS warranty company . Like many others here , my water heater failed and AHS warranty company sends out these fraudsters . Like everyone else , they prepare an estimate with a large number of "uncovered add ins and code upgrades" I would need to pay . I opted to take the cash offer and find my own contractor , which was half the price of this scam outfit . I will be contacting the Nevada attorney general and other licensing authorities regarding the deceptive and fraudulent business practices of this company , as ratified by the warranty company .
