In my opinion doesn't deserve the star I HAD to give them. Has to be the WORST service I've ever encountered. Two days of work lost due to making appointments and not showing up.
This is supposed to be an emergency service and I am still without a running bathroom that I paid a down payment on to have my bathtub faucet fixed. I called this service in on August 24. They came in and assessed the situation and advised they could fix it. Paid the request led assessment fee under the impression that they would complete the work and apply the assessment fee to the full amount quoted from their price list.
Since then I have corresponded with the plumber named 'Phil' via text who has treated my requests like they don't matter. I have tried to be patient but it's getting ridiculous.
Made his second spot me and didn't show because he had a dentist's appointment. Then recently didn't show because he is up North.
He has left my bathroom in a mess. I have no running shower or sink or toilet.
After waiting 3 days since he told me he found the part required, finally got back to me yesterday Sept 3 via text stating he couldn't come till tomorrow (today) Sept 4. I can't do Sept 4 because it happens to be a long weekend and I had no notice from this plumber.
After asking him to send someone else if he doesn't want to complete the job, he basically told me not to text him anymore because he's up North. I am going to call his office again today to ask for the appointment to have the service completed on Saturday or Sunday.
These people in my opinion, seem to run on their own time and a shabby unorganized unaccountable business. Or maybe it's just this particular plumber. They took my down payment and have treated me like they could give a crap about finishing the mess they've left me in. No principle. No ethics.
Their site states that if I choose them to do the work, they will apply my previous payment to what needs to be done. I am looking at spending approx $710CA with them...to replace a cartridge. This is how much they have me on board for. I agreed to and paid them their assessment fee which could only be by debit...no credit...and now they have left me high and dry!
I am terribly frustrated and refuse to let it go that easily on principle.
I am filing a complaint with the BBB in hopes of something going on file somewhere and getting some retribution.
