  • I was a frequent customer of the old harkins camel view theater for years. It was one of the few places in town to showed indie movies. I'm not a blockbuster movie type. I don't need Dolby sound - I just want to relax and enjoy a good film. Last night I attempted to see the new Woody Allen movie at the new camel view location. Parking = nightmare. Trying to find movie theater from parking lot = maze + torturous Buying a ticket = impossible. Why was it impossible? Because it was sold out. Why was it sold out? Because there were 7 rows of seats (I'm guessing the row of handicap seats were open? So really 6 rows of seats) Did they put a big screen tv in a closet and turn it into a theater? I was also shocked to find out that the theater is all reserved seating? Why?? I then had the hassle of trying to find my car. I will not be returning to this theater. I miss the relaxing, calm, movie experience that seems to be disappearing.
