  • Love the Hard Rock/Metal atmosphere...I've been to Vamps many times, and it's time for to express my negative experiences. Like others who visit LV...it's a great place to visit and to escape the high cost of entertainment from the strip. I'm a local here, so I frequent local clubs to support local bands, not to mention national acts that drop by as well. Just recently, my wife and I saw the Iron Maidens play on July 3rd. Great show as always...however, my wife and I had 5 drinks between us...(5 rail drinks), my bill was $85.00. It's highway robbery...why is this? The bill had me thinking for the last couple of days. Vamps is located about 9 miles from the strip, the drink prices should be lower. The food is ok, but I'm there for the entertainment. The bartenders before in the past would charge different prices for the same drinks, give or take a buck. Its B.S. that patrons have to pay $15.00 for a rum & coke for a small venue located miles away from the strip.
