Mixed feelings towards this place.. I had come here for dinner around 5pm on a Wednesday evening, and I had all you can eat sushi.
The pros of this place is the service and cleanliness! Especially from our specific bus person - a tall lanky fella - who I didn't get to catch the name of, but he definitely was on top of asking if we'd like any plates out of the way and our drinks were always refilled constantly.
Now for the cons which really had to be brought up.. The food quality.
Now I'd understand if it was really busy (which it wasn't whatsoever), but the sushi rolls seemed like it was meh. 6-7/10. Example: The rolls ordered that had unagi (fresh water eel) on top had tiny burnt pieces of eel on top. And the nigiri I had ordered always had a fat piece of rice under the fish.
Now for my lady's bento box she ordered.
She decided to go with the teriyaki beef bento,
And it came with everything any other bento box would come with (vegetable tempura, 1/2 roll of California roll, house salad) and it wasn't anything special. Yet it came out to $16.. Definitely not worth it as much.
Sadly I wish I captured photos but I didn't get to..
Overall this restaurant ambience was nice.
Dimly lit, and decorated nicely. Nothing bad to say about the servers or restaurant itself.
A good date night for anybody craving sushi in general. DISCLAIMER: *I'm just nit-picky about my sushi quality after going to so many ayce sushi spots* lol.
Thanks Sushi Wa.
