  • I like the Shark Reef. It's kind of nice that you can enter through the convention side and avoid walking through the casino. I think as most of these types of small attractions go it was reasonable for $15. I got the NV resident discount, that is 3 bucks off from the normal price. They have the tourist trap thing at the beginning where you pose in front of the green screen and they fill it with a background later. We went for it this time cause it was amusing. The first part of the Shark Reef has some interesting reptiles. I love the Komodo Dragon. He's always observing everyone with that look in his eye, "Mmm, yummy." It seems that every time I have went the golden crocodile is sleeping. Of course the stars here are the sharks. You can actually lose track of time watching them swim around in the huge tank. There are also tanks full of starfish, octopus and rays. And there is also a fun little touch pool.
