I'm going to say this...
I'd been wanting to visit The Flying Biscuit for a while. Seen the great reviews so I wanted in as well.
Decided to stop in before an appointment so I was kinda crunched for time but I was at war with my stomach and guess what? It won!
I was greeted promptly and seated. I requested a cup of joe and a water. After tussling with sugar packets ( I despise sugar packets. Get sugar dispensers already.)
I ordered the shrimp and grits. It was ok. The shrimp were cooked just right and the grits were tasty and creamy but the chunks of tomato I can do without. I think Midnight Diner has spoiled me with their shrimp and grits. Along with my fish there was a biscuit. A HARD biscuit. I started to ask for butter but in this case it wouldn't have helped. I slathered the jam that was provided inside the biscuit. Honestly, I wouldn't sell biscuits that hard. Biscuits should be soft and WARM....
Anywho, I'd give The Flying Biscuit another try minus the biscuit.
