I was really optimistic about East End based on all the reviews here. My first impression was pretty good--the staff were all friendly, and Dr. Cangin quickly diagnosed my puppy's conditions. However, I was told the wrong dosage of medication (both verbally and in writing), and nobody caught it until I called in a week later asking why I had run out of medicine. If the medicine had been toxic in large doses, my puppy could have been seriously hurt, or even killed. To add insult to injury, Dr. Cangin told me there was no guarantee it wouldn't happen again, and I would probably be more comfortable going elsewhere.
Final impression: unprofessional and downright dangerous to pets. I will definitely be going elsewhere.
