  • I've been growing out my hair for about a year and now it's finally getting to the 'long' stage, but there are pros and cons. Pro: I have long beautiful hair again! Con: I have to blow dry long hair again (read: excessive amounts of time getting ready and guaranteed tired numb arms)! I decided to get a blowout one weekend as we had some fun events planned and went to Vent based on Yelp reviews and proximity to my house. I was so happy I did! Although I usually wouldn't say that parking at DT Summerlin is the easiest, I feel the parking directly around Vent is quite accommodating. There are a few right in front for pro parallel parkers and then a lot directly across the street. During my appointment there were only a few others getting blowouts so it was nice and quiet; relaxing, really. My stylist was very polite and gave me exactly what I asked for. I have had experience with some blowouts where the stylist can be a little rough or the service can take an excessively long time, but I would say that my experience at Vent was probably the best blowout experience I have had. I also saw that they had packages and I seriously considered doing it at the time as I keep shampooing to a minimum (like I said, I've been growing my hair out so I try to keep it as healthy as possible) and only need to blow-dry my hair a few times a month. The idea of buying a monthly blowout packaged may seem like a bit of an indulgent luxury, but think of all the time you'd save and the great hair you'd have! :D They also sell some hair products I like there and they had good deals on them as well.
