  • I like friendly service. I'm not saying I expect Starbucks-level jolly. But I make an effort to be friendly to people, and I really appreciate when others do the same, especially someone behind the counter. Even a "hello" and a smile would make a massive difference. I've been to Crema 3 times now, and have been served by 3 different people. All three have come across as ...pretentious - No smiling, no "hello" etc.. It's soured the experience each time, and after 3 similar experiences I can't really use "Maybe he/she is having a bad day" as an excuse. So that ends my attempts at Crema. ...Which is a shame, because their coffee is absolutely delicious.
