  • If I could leave less than 1 star I would have to do so for this place. How they are voted number 1 in Vegas well at least they are proud of that. My husband went in ER on Thursday, April 6, 2017 with extreme pain in the abdomen he walked in at 9:30 am and was left all day to throw up and soil himself at one point he had to get up and find something to throw up in since non and I mean non of the nurses would assist. Then they admit him put him on the 4th Floor, I get there at 4:15pm he is still in hallway not even in the room finally get them to put him in the room he is a complete mess wet from urine disgusting as well as in humane. I went over his regular meds with the nurse (Billy) 5 times not sure if listening skill are required in the medical field. My husband take gabapentin a prescription medication that you can not stop taking without huge impact on the body, well this medial # l in Vegas hospital did not even review his medications so therefore he was not given any, by the time I arrived on Friday , April 7, 2017 at 3:00 pm because he stated he was discharged he was a complete mess, could not walk, could not make complete sentences I was in shock, oh and not only that here is another special treatment that they provide for their patients at 2:23 am my husband texted me that they moved him from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor REALLY AT 2:23 IN THE MORNING WHO DOES THAT!!! Oh but it gets even better in the moved the staff took it upon themselves to throw away his new dentures (6 mo old) that were clearly marked and labeled how do I know this well I marked them clearly myself, thank god I took his wallet and phone. As I write this I am saddened to think of the cruelty that goes on the medical field here in Vegas. And for those that have had similar experience with Southern Hills my heart goes out to you and your family.
