  • This is my favorite restuarant in Phoenix. I was introduced to this place by my bosses who equally love it. One of the waitresses is a client of ours as well. The food is AMAZING! My favorites are the empanadas, the chicken with the tomatillo cream sauce and the Fuego pasta. My favorite sides are the green chili cornbread casserole and the chipotle cheddar mashed potatoes. Just talking about it makes me want to eat there. The space they occupy is near a dance studio so it's fun to see students running around. The outdoor dining space is gorgeous when the weather is nice and they have live music some nights. The iced tea is a must and I have tried the Kahlua Crème Brulee with friends but I didn't love it because I don't love Kahlua but if you do then it'll be amazing! You can't go wrong with this place. Casual enough to bring family and friends but the food and atmosphere are lovely enough to bring a date or to impress your boss or clients. The portions are huge which is great because then you get to enjoy your meal all over again the next day! Lastly, the service here is top notch! I'm pretty sure the owner goes around refilling drinks and bringing out food! Oops almost forgot, for those with kids there is a kids menu for 12 and under who need more familiar foods like chicken fingers, tacos or cheese quesadilla etc.
