I realize that the quality of work received totally depends on the maid they give you. In my case the maid I got was horrible. Where do I begin?...
She was 1/2 an hour late but didn't stay a half hour over time to make up for it. She also smelled of smoke and wore no underwear under her jeans so when she bent over my toddler saw her butt coming out and thought it would be nice to point that out for everyone.
I asked her to do a few simple things to which she did none thoroughly.
I asked her to clean the blinds and window sills of ALL my windows...she only did the bottom floor and still skipped one window down there.
I asked her to clean the bathrooms and she skipped scrubbing the sinks and counter tops and mirrors as in they weren't even touched.
I asked her to vacuum so she vacuumed the upstairs and overheated it for failure to check if debris needed to be dumped from the canister so it was unusable for her to finish vacuuming down stairs. By the way I asked her not to bring her vacuum when she called me the night prior, I don't know about you but bringing a vacuum from filthy house to filthy house is gross.
Lastly I asked her to dust all the furniture in the house. She dusted only downstairs and didn't bother dusting items that are on the actual furniture like frames and skipped dusting behind or under things so she basically didn't bother lifting up the frames to dust.
She was horrible. My toddler could do a better job. I don't know how this lady even has a job as a maid. I asked her to do simple things and I don't know who thinks skipping counter tops, sinks, and mirrors in a bathroom is OK. I won't ever hire them again if this is the kind of service they allow.
