  • HOLY COW BELLS!!! Compared to Kiley's and Big Mamas House (the formers) this place doesn't suck!!!! Granted, it appears they are still in the process of opening(floors are unfinished, needs some interior decroations/wall garb)... the whole is 10X better than any of the other bars which were at this location. AND it's no longer a dark cavey biker beat-down bar. That was the biggest turn-off to this place. It's all pine/wood and cowboy/western themed(hence the name). Still has the same bar set up but they got rid of the levels in the middle and rear of the bar. The furniture all goes, isn't mish-mashed up like the others were. The theme is clear (and cohensive), the interior is inviting(no more black paint!), and overall, I find it much friendlier and a cleaner than 3/4 of the bars in chandler and tempe. It's not quite as schwanky as Bourbon Jacks, but unless you are looking for that, it's the perfect western/country bar. The menu is all one theme!! And the food is decent, won't be back alone for the food. Cook/ Owners: your black beans taste like you opened a can of grocery store bottom shelf beans and warmed them up, Throw in some green chilies(even mild ones) or something with a little flavor. And the grilled fish tacos... well first they weren't grilled (they were pan fried) and second... flour tortillas? At least give the option for corn, the flour were gross and taco-bellish tasting. They have a dedicated stage in front for live music which is so much better for enjoyment than the cramped little one they used to have in the back. And drink prices are still dirt cheap *THUMBS UP* The moster (think it was 32oz) beer was $3.75 or $4. They even had micro brews from San Tan, Four Peaks and a few other places. Now, I'll come back for drinks, the music and the atmostphere. This place is a nice bar to hang out, get a little country music and all within a budget.
