I can honestly say I've never had worse service at a restaurant in Pittsburgh than I did at Plum Pan Asian Kitchen. We had a reservation for 6 PM on a week day and when we arrived and throughout our entire meal, the restaurant was pretty much empty. Both my husband and I ordered chicken dishes for dinner and I ordered a sushi roll as an appetizer. It took an entire hour to get our sushi roll. There was no reason to wait that long for a sushi roll in a dead restaurant. Then, 20 minutes or so later, nearly 1.5 hours since we were seated, we were served our meals. It was totally unacceptable. 45 minutes after we were seated, another group of 4 came in and they were served their meals before us. How does that even happen? Beyond the slow food service, our waitress was just very slow in general. She didn't seem like she was all there and very well could have been under the influence of something because she just seemed really zoned out. It was one of those instances where we gave our card to pay as soon as she brought the bill because we couldn't risk her disappearing for 20 minutes again and we were so desperate to leave. I won't be eating here ever again.
