  • I absolutely despise this gym/company in general. I had a really awful experience at the Tucson location a couple years back with a shady sales person and I should never have given them another chance. I originally signed up because it was the closest and most affordable gym in Old Town. After I signed up they wouldn't stop calling my roommate and I about using our free personal training session. They called each of us at least 4 times within a week before I had to be rather rude and ask them to stop (I work in a call center so I know cold calling can really suck and was trying to be understanding about it). When I finally asked if they could stop calling the sales associate hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. Rude. This gym should be renamed BRA Fitness because it is swarming with bros-not my cup of tea. Obviously they don't have control over what type of person attends this gym, but I still hate coming here. After only attending a few times within a 4 month period, I decided to cancel my membership. When I called they informed me I had to come in person to cancel anytime between 9-5 Mon-Fri to speak with the operations manager. It was 4:15 on a Friday so I hurried on over to get it taken care of. When I arrived at 4:30 they told me the operations manager had already left for the day but they could still cancel my membership at another location. The woman at the front desk said they couldn't print me out a cancel confirmation but I would receive an email within the next couple days. A week passed and I never received such confirmation. I called a week later, spoke with a different employee and explained the entire situation. She said the manager was still not there but she would personally talk to him on Monday when he was in and have him call me. Monday came and obviously I was never contacted. Finally I called a third time to cancel and had to be extremely stern in order for them to cancel my membership over the phone. Needless to say I will not be coming back. I highly recommend finding a different gym in the area.
