  • Had our first trip to Sofrita Saturday night. It was not crowded and mellow - just the way I like it. We had the pork pernil, ropa vieja, and some tamales. All were simple, but flavorfull. My wife cannot handle anything spicy, and these were mellow enough for her. The sangrias were a little sweeter than I like, but professionally assembled. I look forward to returning and trying some of the seafood items. Also, the restaurant décor is awesome!! Staff was attentive. No complaints.
