When this unique little spot at St. Clair and Christie first opened, it was fantastic: beautiful decor, great tea, fabulous treats and, more importantly, enthused and engaging owners who made guests feel welcome and appreciated. What a difference 7 months makes. The service and attention have steadily declined. The owner has become surly and distracted behind the counter and the baked goods have been stale the last 2 times I've been there. The restrictions of seating time and wifi access show an intolerance of customer needs from their location and have contributed to a fundamental paradox at the heart of the store: great attention to detail undermined by apathy and a lack of respect for their clients. Most disappointing. Won't be going back.
