Living in NYC for two years, I was spoiled by the advent of PinkBerry. Delicious REAL frozen yogurt. Not that sissy stuff you get at other places. When I left NYC, I didn't expect to find anything like PinkBerry again.
Two years later, I was introduced to Swirl.
Pretty much exactly the same as PinkBerry, but with only two flavors: Original and Berry. I prefer the original because it stays true to what frozen yogurt is supposed to be. The berry is good too, but much more comparable to "fake" frozen yogurts. They have lots of toppings to choose from- anything from fresh fruit to fruity pebbles. They really give you the opportunity to have fun with your creations. And I mean this literally. You build your own sundae. You dispense the frozen yogurt. You add as much or as few toppings as you choose. They charge you by the ounce instead of by size....so you might want to be easy-handed with those heavy toppings.
Highly recommended for PinkBerry for frozen yogurt fans. If you've never had the real deal, give Swirl a try!
