Visited La Brioche on 6/07/2017. Our son and his wife picked the location to meet up with us and celebrate our 33 anniversary. Upon arriving, I was surprised by the location which was quaint, but busy. All outdoor seating was taken and the customer traffic was brisk. Entering the store you're welcomed by a cozy setting of bakery in a glass display that makes you hungry the moment you walk in. The décor is a slight antique style, slightly dimmed lighting and the aroma of the foods being eaten and prepared among the hustle and bustle of patrons and staff; yes the place was busy!
We asked to be seated while waiting for the other half of our party to arrive. We were seated in a comfy seat in a booth and shorty the others arrived. We were quickly served by waitress with water and asked about drink choices. We chose different types of coffee which was delivered in a acceptable time and asked about our food order. We asked to be given a bit more time. Shortly after the waitress arrived again and we were ready with our orders.
Food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time: was fresh and hot and appeasing to the eye and nose.
The food was deliciously prepared and the portions were plentiful.
I definitely recommend La Brioche on your next visit to Madison or in the neighborhood.
