  • Bad from the very start down to booking through Hyatt customer service. Who booked the wrong Hyatt (Hyatt Place at first) I typically stay at Hilton but saw this place as a plus bc of it's amenities. I was having a major surgery, which the front desk was made aware from booking down to check in. Well we check in at 4:30pm the clerk says "a room on the ground level is not ready but if you want a room right away we can change you later "hello I'm handicap? There is NO elevator!!! Not to mention I Just had a flight from VA to AZ I'm in pain, but sure I will return so I can have a room that I can get into even though I had a reservation...??? The clerk did add "well we'll make sure it's a nice room that's on the other side... on the quiet side." As we get our keys I wonder how the pool side is quiet but maybe bc it's cold no one will be using it.... Ummmm WRONG.... Now let's fast forward to major surgery... I'm done with surgery. Checked out of the hospital. The handicap ramp literally dumped me over on the pavement. Well back to "quiet" well if you find the sound of rolling maid cards and luggage on the sidewalk ALL day long when your trying to sleep with screaming kids in the pool relaxing you're fine!! Why they didn't booking me on the other side where the cars park (non poolside) is beyond me?? Sooo I do not recommend for a stay for a hospital recovery stay. Tried to help us how David M? We never had the chance to speak with you but we called multiple times to the front desk and never got any help except "we can move your room." However, "we have no rooms on the ground level" Again handicap... I'm now home. I was there Jan 1-11 there was plenty of time to fix stuff down to the two seperate charges and nothing was fixed. I will "call" but I'm home now! I will say as a plus they do offer free ear plugs!! lol UPDATE: I did call... Nothing really was done except talked again about everything. They did say to contact them if I visit there again. Lol ummmm never got my reward points either.
