Booked our flight 2 months ago. Right as we're arriving at the airport, a message pops up on my phone saying that the flight was canceled. Called Air Canada's Customer Service number only to be connected with a rude rep. She couldn't tell me why the flight was canceled nor had anything out of the area until the following day...which defeated the purpose of attending my friend's wedding. When I asked about "comps" for getting "f'd" over, she laughed and said the best she can do is book us the next day. First time I've ever had a flight canceled...and on such short notice.
