I LOVE this resort! It's so relaxing and beautiful. On this particular stay, they had half of the pool closed for a wedding. Now mind you, the pool MAKES this resort. Trying to cram all the guests onto one side at full capacity is tricky. I still love it. If you haven't been here yet, you seriously need to go. Three jacuzzi's, one ginormous pool (normally) and nestled in the buttes. The view is amazing.
The rooms are super clean and comfy and the breakfast buffet at The Market Cafe is so so so good. They have poolside service, so you can eat and drink to your heart's content. Just make sure to wear your flip flops poolside, because that stone gets VERY hot, trust me.
We celebrated our honeymoon here and come back every year for our anniversary. The service is great and can't be beat. Forgot to mention they have a water slide for those of you that love adventure. Lots of wildlife to see on the mountains and it's a great getaway smack dab in the middle of the city. Great view of the city too. Try a sunset stroll with your honey on the bridge.
I can't vouch for Top of The Rock. It used to be a 5 star restaurant about 20 years ago, then we tried it about 3-4 years ago and it was on par with a McDonald's. Too afraid to try it again. But like I said, you can get delicious food at The Market Cafe or what they call The Lobby Bar, appropriately right next to the lobby. Give it a shot. Summer rates are coming down! What's your excuse?!?!
