First off... Buddy V's food... Always amazing! Service usually amazing as well. However, this review is for the waiter Kaleb. Who wasn't even our waiter. We made a reservation and were seated at one of the two chef's tables. After giving us the details on the family style meal not on the menu our waiter filled our drinks. Then we met Kaleb... Nope not our waiter. He informed us we were being moved because they wanted to use our table for a 12 top. There were six of us. He didn't ask he told us we needed to get up and move and leave our drinks on the table. We asked what was going on. He just kept saying we had to move. So as we were being basically pushed to another table at the back of the place he was being a jerk through the process. Then he tried to switch us from the lunch menu to he dinner menu without explaining what the difference was. Also telling us he would get a free desert for one of us. Apparently the menu change is basically a higher price and more items. Luckily he wasn't going to be our waiter at the new table. As most should do we called the manager over. He apologizes and asks us if we want a different table. Which we didn't care about the table. He was missing the point Kaleb was being a jerk. He offered at least free desert to all of us. We even confirmed it was all of us and not one of us. Our waitress Kristy... Was amazing!!! So again take note this 1 star rating is not the norm... we generally would give it 5. Kaleb should get a 0. Even a few of the staff agreed and confirmed Kaleb was a jerk. The manager was subpar. When ordering the apparently free desert we were told it was for 4 of us. Our waitress went and made sure it was adjusted to what was promised. Again, We would request Kristy because her service was amazing and she dealt with the situation better than the manager. When we left 2 hours in... The 12 top never showed up. We were going to order the family dinner. So they lost out on probably twice bill and still would have been able to seat the 12 top. When we told the manager on the way out that that party never showed he said they had to save the reservation and we should be happy because he bought us over $100 worth of desert. We reminded him that 6 people x $9 doesn't quite equal that. He says ... "Well I tried." We didn't care about the free desert. It was how the restaurant handled it. The point is how this situation was handled. In our opinion ... It was terrible.
