  • The staff was friendly, but that's about all that Charmaine Sweets has going for it. The prices are high. Take the chocolate croissants, for example. $2.25 for probably the worst croissant I've ever had. Not a single drop of chocolate inside and not flaky at all. Just tough and chewy. After a couple of bites I threw it in the green bin. I'm generally very easy to please and rarely give one star, but Charmaine Sweets earned it.
