| - We just purchased a Ryland Home and were treated with amazing courtesy and kindness. We visited over 12 different new home communities last summer, but kept going back to the Ryland property called "Indigo" at Lone Mountain. We kept coming back because we liked the feel of the neighborhood as much as the designs of the homes. After the 7th or 8th visit, our salesperson Bethann (who was a delight) simply said "You keep coming back. Isn't it time to just go ahead and buy your new home?". She was able to let us know that we qualified very quickly and we sat down and ordered our home. One thing I really liked was that we were able to order our home as a "basic" model and added whatever options we wanted and ignored those things that weren't important to us. The prices for each upgrade were extremely reasonable... and we were able to get a house that is unique in the community. With 4 models in regular or flip plan, 3 different exterior design choices, and more than 7 designer paint schemes, it was easy to see why the community isn't "cookie cutter", yet still harmonizes beautifully. We were welcomed to come and see the house under construction and we quickly understood why.... they are rightfully proud of the top quality materials and crew members they use in the homes. The best woods, plumbing fixtures, toilets, stucco, and paints are used. They told us they use the best because it doesn't cost that much more to make sure the house stays working smoothly for many years to come. The design center was fantastic, with numerous options, and helped us pick out exactly what would fit our budget and needs... never pressuring us on anything. The underwriting team was also friendly, helpful, and very courteous. The final outcome is a house that looks every bit something you might see in a design magazine, yet with exactly our tastes and color choices in mind. The walk-through was with the head of construction, Russ, who was great, because he helped us understand the mechanics of the house and how to keep it "like new". He also went way above what we expected in terms of making sure every detail of the house was perfect. We couldn't be more pleased. On a side note, we went to the largest furniture store in the area and told the salesman we had just bought a new house. He asked us the builder and we said "Ryland". He got a big smile on his face and said "Oh, that's great. You picked the best builder in town... you won't have any problems. They are among the few that really stand behind what they build". He's been absolutely right so far. We couldn't recommend Ryland more. They made a very daunting process and joyous one.
