| - TERRIBLE!
Worst experience I ever had with a real estate agent, and that is really saying something.
I contacted this agency and dealt with TIM KUPTZ during my search for a house to rent. My needs were, had to be a house with a yard for my 55lb dog, available for 6 month lease for the first term, and close as possible to red rocks.
I looked at a few houses which were ok, then saw one that would have been perfect. This came a week into my search, with about 2 weeks left before I had to move out.
I indicated I would like the house, and filled out all the applications and provided all needed paperwork, I of course put on there that I had a dog, a subject I was up front about the whole way. Repeatedly, on the phone with Tim I made sure he understood that I had a dog and needed a 6 month lease. He assured me it was fine.
Based on his word, I stopped looking for a new rental. I signed the lease 8 days later. The lease was not complete. It lacked the section that said I would have first chance at renewal after the first 6 months (something I stipulated from the start), it also neglected to include info about who would be servicing the pool / hot tub and when. I needed to call and have an addendum sent. I signed the partially complete lease anyway.
The very next day I was informed that "dogs are not allowed". WTF?! The listing CLEARLY said dogs were ok. I was also assured half a dozen times it was fine.
I got strung along for over a week before being told this. At least if he had had the professionalism to relay this info to me sooner, I wouldn't have had to scramble to find a new place with one week to go before having to move out. Now I have to take more time and start all over again. I had passed up on 2 perfectly good places on good faith that this agency would deliver what it promised. Both places were of course snapped up in the many days between being told I could have the rental, and being told I couldn't.
The only explanation was "the listing was wrong". There was no offer to help me find somewhere else, not even an offer to return the OUTRAGEOUS $75 application fee. I had to specifically ask to have it mailed to me. And as of now, it still is not here.
What a clown show.
