  • Speed-Friending Event: Amazing event - thanks so much for organizing Kris!!! This was the very first time I've attended a Yelp event and it was tons of fun and I had a great time eating some good food and chatting with new people. The selfie light was also super cool and I'll definitely be using it in the future when taking pictures (of food) Food: Everyone got a sampler plate that had a pretty good quantity overall. The steak was very nice and tender, albeit a little overdone on the seasoning. The croissantwich was delicious, as was the salmon and leafy greens. The garlic chicken wings were hot and fresh and the flavour was good and not too overwhelming. Dessert was also very good. Personally I'm not too into sweets but all of the desserts there were nice and balanced, from the cheesecake (which wasn't too sweet nor heavy) to the mango pudding (which was very unique, in a good way, and had a bunch of mango chunks inside) I also got water there and it was some pretty great tasting water (I only mention this because the owner told me about the Kangen water machine they had at the cafe).
