| - My wife booked the hotel. We were on a driving vacation and she was looking for something away from the noise of Toronto, but relatively easy access to the city for sight seeing. It's 2km to the nearest GO station, but the staff correctly warned that taking public transport would take much longer. Still, it was a solid hour to the CN tower, at around 3:30pm, thanks to construction. Traffic was worse coming out of Toronto.
As for the hotel, this one is hard. I would give the hotel 4 stars, business friendly, exercise room, well maintained, good sized rooms, clean and comfortable. The internet, however, was a paltry 11Mbps and the noise level from trucks and airplanes was very high. I know, it's near the Toronto airport , but I've stayed at other airport hotels that were much quieter, and the trucks all night were a killer. This wasn't a business trip, so the sleep actually mattered.
Great staff and nice hotel, but I wouldn't stay here again with family. I might, if I was in town on business.
