After discovering this group of talented performers, I've been in love with Second City. I've watched every show there is available, including the ones for kids. It was still very entertaining ! The skits are all short, updated, and Toronto-based. Because they are so awesome, I wish they have more shows.
Tips for virgins:
1. Their spring/summer/fall preview is the same show as the one for the coming season. We can be heroes was the same as the fall preview so I saw the same show twice.
2. Arrive early on busy weekend nights. The seats are very crammed as they try to fit as many as they could.
3. Expect the show to run for 2 hours with intermission.
4. They offer a free improv show around 10:30pm , so its best to catch the later show so you can watch back to back
5. If you want to get picked on, sit in the front 3 rows, middle section
6. Don't wear a tall hat.
7. Don't go hungry as the food is over priced and mediocre.
8. If you are a student, speak up! Student rates are 20$/ticket!
