I got here late in the afternoon to take advantage of my $15 dining credit. For what I got, this place was pretty good.
I came after a full day of class with an empty stomach. I originally planned to use my credit towards the buffet, but the line was too long so I went here.
I was seated promptly by the hostess. A waitress then came and got my drink order. As for food, I ordered the country fried steak with eggs and toast (I love breakfast food for dinner) and a to-go order hamburger with fries.
The chicken fried steak was good. It wasn't oily or dry. The gravy tasted amazing. The eggs were perfectly cooked just the way I like them: sunny side up. I didn't try the burger because I took it home for my family, but they enjoyed it.
The waitress was very nice. She was attentive. However, she didn't bother to ask to refill my water. It was just me, so maybe she was busy attending to other patrons.
In the end, I only paid $2.70 plus a few bucks for a tip. Not bad for an eat-in meal and another to-go.
