| - Beware. I felt quite uncomfortable in this store, and felt very pressured into purchasing from them. Luckily from reading the reviews after and googling them I'm glad I didn't. So I thought I'd share my experiences here too.
I was walking past this place on Thursday and saw someone stood outside in the corner of my eye trying to get my attention, which I ignored and walked past. Or at least tried to. As I was nearly past, this person shouted across the walkway after me, which made me think maybe I'd dropped something, but they were just calling me over to give me a free sample. Usually I don't take samples, but was a bit off-guard so went to take it and continue walking past, only he didn't let go of the sample. Instead he talked me into coming inside under the premise that he had another sample he wanted to give me.
He said he saw me coming a mile away (I'm sure he did..!)
He then went onto apply eye cream to one of my eyes. He asked me where I was from, and after I said London he went on to tell me that this brand of skincare is VERY popular in America (false) and that online it's more expensive than in their store (true). He showed me a mirror to see the difference, of which I didn't see any, but for whatever reason I agreed. He told me it retailed for $1000+
He then applied a chemical peel product to my hand, which began to congeal on my hand and look like it was removing dead cells from my hand, but honestly I think it was just the cream reacting with the air. The only difference I saw between the two hands was that the treated hand looked slightly paler than the other. He said this product retailed for $199. He then went on to show me a before and after photo of a man which looked as though it had been photoshoped.
I felt quite uncomfortable in the chair as there were too many compliments being made that I just knew to be untrue, as well as pointing out flaws that are "showing my age" but that their products would fix, and just felt like anything was being said to make a sale. Ive flown over 12 hours, am jet lagged AND am in Vegas, so of course my skin is dehydrated and suffering from it all.
I think he could sense my discomfort, so he said if I promised not to tell anyone, he'd sell both products to me for $199. After seeing my expression, he then offered to throw in a cleanser for free as well, but that the offer was only open until 4pm as then he had to leave (it was 3.30pm). I asked if he was working tomorrow as I needed to speak to my boyfriend (really I just wanted to leave politely), and he said no, and that only he could offer me that price. He then tried to get me to just buy one of the things, and I said I still needed to speak to my bf as he has my cards (not true, but eanted to leave). He said for me to call him in the store, I said I'd go out to look for him in the casino and then left the shop for good. I felt so pressured the whole time, and felt like everything being said to me was false.
I went on to check reviews, and I'm so glad I did as they all line up with my experience. Shockingly (not) I saw him working there the next day!
I can't comment fully on the product, however I saw absolutely no difference, and agree with one review that said their eye felt like they'd applied glue to it. I can comment, however, on the service I received and I do not trust their sales staff in the slightest. Therefore I do not trust their product. And so many reviews mention more issues after purchasing, so steer clear of this place entirely to be safe!
