1800 reviews and a 4.5 star rating? Jeeze. Again, I must not be on the bandwagon because I didn't quite go goo-goo-ga-ga over this place. Nice, but people go crazy over this place. I kind of got the feeling that it simply jumped on the bandwagon at the right time... at the right place. After all, craft beer drinking is all the rage these days and you're simply not cool if you drink a Budweiser these days.
With that said, the beer (yes, I got a seasonal craft) was good. Not much to not like about a Pumpkin Porter. The food was good as well.
Three things were odd. The servers in our area kept going over to a particular table and eating off their plates. Friends I guess? Regulars? Guys hitting on them? Famished? No idea... but it came off as odd. Secondly, in the evening they pull the sun shades down and the place almost looks closed. Parking is kind of odd too - had to park in the "back" and walk around.
Not a place I'd search out as I can't grow a big enough beard to fully love craft beer... but it was good.
